For my MLA/Conventions, I worked on citing blocked quotes correctly. In high school I was never really sure how to cite them, but once investigating the citation in the Little Seagull was able to finally cite it correctly. I also tried to work on commas. In my last paper I had a lot of places where I was missing commas. This time around I tried to limit the amount of times I missed commas. For example, when I was looking over my paper in class, I noticed that this sentence was missing a comma:

In the case of the LGBTQ girl, she had a stronger connection with pseudo profile users online than she did with people in her physical world especially her parents.

I changed it to:

In the case of the LGBTQ girl, she had a stronger connection with pseudo profile users online than she did with people in her physical world, especially her parents.

I find that I sometimes don’t put commas where they should be. I also find that I sometimes use them too much. I think it is still hard for me to recognize when I have overdone it with commas, or even when I’ve done too little. I want to continue to work on this issue throughout the remainder of the semester. I do feel however that I had less commas errors compared to my Literacy Narrative.
